“Starnes”
Bryan Alan Starnes was born March 18, 1985 in West Valley City, Utah to James Patrick and Pauline Birch Starnes.Survivors include his parents, Jim and Pauline and four brothers: Michael; Justin, Eric and Aaron.
He then entered the US Army in March 2010, where he served in Afganistan. Bryan always had a love for the outdoors, hiking, climbing, hunting, fishing, caving and riding four wheelers. He lived in Minnesota and Alaska, where he was stationed for the last five years.
Bryan was murdered by a 17 year old. His body was found by his roomates in his home with more than 50 stab wounds to his head, face, neck and back.
Bryan was a close friend to our awesome member Alex Florez. Thank you Alex for sharing this with us and we are honored to do a WOD in his honor!
